The location in Nungwi was perfect. Directly on the beach and a quieter part of the village. Right on the beach, the staff were nice and helpful, okay breakfast, clean big rooms. Appreciated that there were sunbeds in the hotel garden by the beach. The restaurant had a nice view and the food was good, (but we only had lunch once.)

Gorgeous views, kind staffs, good food, good location. Perfect vacation stay. It's right next to the beach so available to all kinds of sea activities. We went on the dolphin tour and it was pretty amazing. The restaurant also has this nice sea view, and the food was very delicious.

I was recommended by a friend, it was worth. This lovely boutique hotel is located right on the Nungwi beach, just a few steps from the Ocean and very close to various bars & restaurants. It is an ideal starting point for long beach walks, boat trips and other water activities. With a private, relaxing atmosphere, stunning views, and a shaded pool, it's perfect for families. The food in hotel restaurant delicious. Staff members are warm-hearted, helpful and demonstrated hospitality, ensuring our comfort and accommodating our requests with a smile. They also make sure that you are not bothered by local beach boys when staying on the front raw sun-beds. The clean, spacious, air-conditioned rooms with comfortable beds enhance your stay experience. Don't miss out on their excellent massage service.

Staying at Double A in Zanzibar was an absolute delight, and it felt like discovering a hidden gem. The service was impeccable – from the attentive staff to the thorough room service, which surprised us with 2-3 daily visits ensuring a pristine room, fresh towels, drinking water and insect/mosquito protection. The culinary experience was a highlight; breakfast was a feast of delicious omelettes, fresh fruits, and juices. Lunches and dinners showcased a diverse menu with scrumptious seafood, but also great beef, and chicken. These guys are great in cooking. Kudos to the chef for the delightful complimentary tastes, from mini-pizzas to pasta and pastries, leaving us eager to explore the full menu. The poolside, complete with sunbeds, provided a serene escape from beach boys, and the nearby beach added to the charm. Being close to the Lulu diving center was a huge plus for us as amateur divers, making our stay both relaxing and adventurous. Celebrating our anniversary at Double A was memorable, and the beachfront location provided a picturesque backdrop for amazing photos. The bar, equipped with darts and American pool, added a fun touch to our evenings, both as a couple and with new friends from the diving center.

Everything was great. The food and the cocktails were delicious (much better than most restaurants that I tried in Zanzibar), the staff was really friendly and took care well about the needs of guests, the room was comfortable and the location was just excellent with view of ocean from the resort. It's still a new property, so not many people know about it yet but I think it was worth every penny for me.

Double A was an amazing place to stay. Right on the beach. The hotel is very clean. The food was amazing. Fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the chicken curry every day. Amazing breakfast, too. The staff were very attentive, respectful, and friendly. The views were amazing. The area is full of life. We loved our stay.
